Zombie Screens
2019-
From the cinematic ruins of drive-in theaters in Appalachia, a ghostly zombie projector reanimates the decayed screen for a new life. Now, they draw a different set—instagrammers searching for graffiti-tagged, abandoned locations to discover feral ruins. These screens are pre-adapted to social distancing and more alluring than the average LED highway sign. Zombie screens could become a potent hybrid of Hollywood spectacle and public messaging campaign.
